Mieke Notenbaert founded EMTEX BVBA in November 2001.

     After her graduation in 1997 at the Ghent University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mieke started her Medical Writing career at an international contract research organization where she worked for nearly 5 years, mainly as a contractor at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies.

     In the following years, EMTEX was founded (November 2001) and the first assignments rolled in.

     Today, EMTEX represents a small group of experienced medical writers, familiar with various types of documents in a wide range of therapeutic fields. Several companies (and the list is still growing) have used our medical writing services to their satisfaction.

     Recently, data analysis has been added to the list of our core services.
