EMTEX, founded in 2001, is a compact, independent company that offers worldwide professional medical writing services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and medical device industry. Over the years, we have gained extensive experience in the interpretation and presentation of data into clear and well-structured scientific documents, and have contributed to several successful regulatory submission dossiers.

Our staff members have the required flexibility, team spirit, scientific background and professional knowledge to help our customers to produce the medical documentation to develop and commercialize their products. Mrs. Mieke Notenbaert and Mr. Mario De Witte founded EMTEX in November 2001.

After her graduation in 1997 at the Ghent University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Mieke started her Medical Writing career at an international contract research organization where she worked for nearly 5 years, mainly as a contractor at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies. At present, Mieke is Head Medical Writing at EMTEX.

From 1991 till 2004, Mario worked as an IT consultant for several multinationals in Belgium. In his role as CEO, he secures the continued positive development of EMTEX.



Today, EMTEX represents a small group of experienced medical writers, familiar with various types of documents in a wide range of therapeutic fields. Several companies (and the list is still growing) have used our medical writing services to their satisfaction.
